# GPT-6 Sol API

> Call the exact gpt-6-sol model through the BeatAPI Responses API.

Use the exact model ID `gpt-6-sol`. This is a separate model from GPT-6.1 Sol and GPT-5.6 Sol.

## Responses API

`POST https://api.beatapi.io/v1/responses`

```typescript
import OpenAI from "openai";
const client = new OpenAI({
  apiKey: process.env.BEATAPI_API_KEY,
  baseURL: "https://api.beatapi.io/v1"
});
const response = await client.responses.create({
  model: "gpt-6-sol",
  input: "Suggest a minimal fix for a webhook handler that processes duplicate events."
});
console.log(response.output_text);
```

```bash
curl --request POST \
  --url https://api.beatapi.io/v1/responses \
  --header 'Authorization: Bearer <BEATAPI_API_KEY>' \
  --header 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  --data '{
    "model": "gpt-6-sol",
    "input": "Suggest a minimal fix for a webhook handler that processes duplicate events."
  }'
```

## Availability and request formats

Call `GET https://api.beatapi.io/v1/models` with the same Bearer key and confirm `gpt-6-sol` is enabled for your account before rollout. For other SDK formats, see the [Text API format guide](/text-api) and the endpoint types published for your key. Format compatibility does not establish support for every provider-specific option or hosted tool.

Check the [current price table](https://beatapi.io/pricing) and inspect request IDs, token usage and settled charges in Dashboard usage logs.
