Seedance 2 Fast

Generate 4–15 second 480p or 720p videos through the official faster Seedance 2.0 route, with optional generated audio.

Supported modes

Page estimate: The selected resolution and aspect ratio determine an estimated delivery pixel area A. With requested output seconds D and total reference-video seconds R, the page estimates video tokens as N = A * (24 * D + 1 + 24 * R) / 1024. Multiply N by the current video-token rate; a request with video references uses a separate rate. Without a reference video, R is 0. With references, use their known total length; when the page does not know it, its estimate uses 15 seconds, the documented maximum total reference-video length. reference_video_seconds is an internal estimator input, not a public request field; do not send it in the API body.

Estimate and task usage: Compare the complete configuration, including reference inputs. These page-estimate rules do not establish a fixed billing multiplier, the production reservation rule or a refund entitlement. Record returned usage.credits_reserved, usage.credits_settled and usage.credits_charged separately from the estimate to reconcile task usage.

Async flow: Create the task, save data.id, then poll the Task with GET /v1/tasks/{task_id}. On succeeded, read data.output.media. On failed, read data.error_code and data.error_message, then follow the error and retry policy.
